FAQ

1) Do I really need to wear all the proper foundation garments?

Well, no one can make you, but......if you want the proper period look, yes.  The corset is one of the most important undergarments, as it helps support and gives a smooth shape and keeps your dress from shifting.  You will have a much better experience if you wear on.  Now, don’t think you need to be Scarlett O’Hara, don’t tight lace and you’ll find just how comfortable a corset can be. Trust me. You will also need to wear a chemise and drawers.  The chemise keeps the corset from pinching and keeps the corset clean from body oils.  The drawers (preferably open crotched) makes bathroom trips much more convenient.  Supporting undergarments like hoops, bustles and petticoats are needed to support the dress and give it the proper historical look.  Properly dressed...you will have a wonderful experience!

2) How do I place my order?

You can use the order form to place your order and send by mail, or you can call 307-534-1945. As I do have a full time job, there are times you will have to leave a message and I will call back as soon as I can.  You can also contact me via e-mail at thevictorainneedle@yahoo.com

3) How do I pay for my order?

I prefer Paypal payments, but I also accept money order or cashier’s check, personal checks from the US only (held for 7-12 days to clear).  I will be accepting credit card payments in the near future.

4) What if I change my mind about my order?

Please don’t take too much time to change your mind.  I can make some changes early, but once I have started sewing it will be more difficult and will end up costing more. I do go over everything very thoroughly with you before I start any work on an order.
